It's been a great week on a beautiful ship. Truly one of our best cruises ever. Josh had a wonderful time participating in the "Solo Travelers" program where he met a very diverse group of people aged 21 to 70. Some of his new friends are shown here with him. The public spaces on the ship were elegant, including the central chandelier and our favorite dining room, Manhattan. The entertainment was extraordinary, including the 40's era big band that played each night at dinner (shown in the bottom photo) in Manhattan. In addition, we enjoyed the dueling rock and roll piano players at "Howl at the Moon," the "Legends in Concert" (impersonators of Janet Jackson, Neil Diamond, and Aretha Franklin), the Slam Allen Blues band, and a production of Blue Man Group. There wasn't a lot of "down" time, although I did manage to read three books and have some quality time in the spa. We had such a good time that we put a down payment on a future cruise and John signed up for a Norwegian Cruise Line credit card. Are we becoming cruisaholics???
