Today was another day at sea. John and I signed up for a "TRX" suspension class that uses gravity to work the core muscles. After the class we decided that the "T" stood for torture! Seriously, it was a great workout, but quite difficult, especially on a moving ship.
As anyone who has taken a cruise knows, photographers are everywhere to capture your special memories of your voyage. It is big business! On the last day of the cruise it was always a hassle to try to find your pictures amongst the hundreds taken of other people. That experience is now a thing of the past. All digital photos are processed by software that "matches" your face with the picture of you that was taken at embarkation for security purposes. You then retrieve all of your photos by computer by inserting your room keycard and ordering them as you would via Shutterfly or Snapfish. Alternatively, the photos are assigned to physical binders, one for each cabin, for the computer-phobic. The photos show the progression of techniques from old-school (dsiplayed) to binders to computer screen. It's a technical advance, and I am sure it is more efficient, but it is a little creepy too!
