Whereas in the earlier posting I showed the longest intact stretch of the Wall, there are bits and pieces of it, in all of its graffitied glory, displayed all over the city. There are also brick lines that mark the “death strip” all over town. I couldn’t help but remark how similar it looks to parts of the Freedom Trail in Boston. However, whereas in Boston the line commemorates a unified fight for freedom, in Berlin the line denotes a city divided by political beliefs.
