| It rained for hours |
Panama has two seasons, “winter,” which is actually the
rainy season from May until mid December, and “summer,” which is the dry season
from mid December until May. For the past two days it has been hot (mid 90s)
and sunny in the morning, and then around 1 PM the rains have started. At first
they were gentle, and in fact Elliott and Josh stayed in the pool. Later in the
afternoon the rain became torrential, which definitely precluded any outside
activities! Panamanian rain has been described as like the heavens opening up
and pouring out massive amounts of liquid.
