After giving four lectures and having numerous meetings in
Brisbane, I was able to enjoy a mental health day with my good friend Helen and
her daughter Akina.

After a strong coffee we headed to Mount Coot-tha, where I saw my first kookaburra.
It didn’t “laugh” but it sat
on the post for quite a while.

We also saw some very attractive ducks and lots
of native foliage. The staghorn ferns were very impressive.
We also visited some galleries and did some “power”
shopping.
